Coconut Creek Police Find Cocaine in Car of Man Leaving Seminole Casino Coconut Creek

COCONUT CREEK, FL – Coconut Creek police found a bag of cocaine in the car of a 45-year-old man after he drove out of Seminole Casino Coconut Creek earlier this month, a police report said.

An officer stopped Marlon Parker of Riviera Beach in the area of 4700 block of West Sample Road on June 9 because Parker didn’t have his car headlights on just before midnight, the report said.

When the officer approached Parker’s car, the officer smelled marijuana, and Parker then handed the officer a “marijuana joint,” the report said.

According to the report, police later found 55 grams of cocaine and nine grams of marijuana, as well as a scale and small ziplock baggies, in his Toyota Camry, the report said.

Parker was charged with selling, possessing, and distributing cocaine, possession of cannabis, and driving without headlines on.

He was taken to Broward County Jail and released after paying bond, according to court records.
