Dr Clíodhna Murphy has published an open access piece
; “Deportation and human rights: the right to respect for private life in MK (Albania) v Minister for Justice and Equality” in Legal Studies.
The article analyses MK (Albania) v Minister for Justice and Equality, a landmark decision of the Irish Supreme Court on deportation and human rights which considers the right to respect for private life – in the sense of social ties within the State – in the context of expulsion.
Clíodhna is Associate Professor at the School of Law and Criminology, where she teaches Migration and Human Rights.
