Clayton Utz in Australia seem to have decided that knowing ex-employees is injurious to the mental health of current employees..
This is somewhat bizarre.. we support their campaign against the constant use of the word “mate” hopefully they banned the use of “awsome” as well.
What happens if you are married to an ex clayton utz employee or you were at school or uni together… very strange indeed
Firm spy write..
As if the firm’s recent ban on ‘mate’ and other office colloquialisms wasn’t bad enough, it seems that the firm is now ‘pressuring’ staff not to socialise with former employees.? Thanks to the anonymous spy who sent this in:
I also hear that clutz HR / management in certain offices are pressuring existing staff not to have anything to do with ex-staff members (socially or otherwise)
How’s that for a War on Mateship?? Out the door and out of mind!
