CILIP Knowledge & Information Management (K&IM) Special Interest Group (SIG) is delighted to announce the first in its Pathfinder Series for New Professionals – a Beginner’s Guide to Knowledge Management (KM): a webinar on Monday 28th Feb at 1200hrs hosted by our Chair, Helene Russell and Vice-Chair (KM) Rory Huston. Designed to help new professionals in K&IM find good practice, this webinar looks at the basics of knowledge management. The event is FREE to CILIP members and open to non-members.
CILIP’s K&IM SIG presents a new Pathfinder Series – a series of webinars supported with additional resources, to help you in your new knowledge and information career. Our first event looks at Knowledge Management and introduces common concepts, frequently used frameworks and highlights the ‘must’ reads and interesting characters in our exciting profession.
Our Pathfinder events are designed for those who are students or who are less than 5 years into their KM and IM careers, and may also be of interest to those who are working towards CILIP/ KM chartership or who would like a refresher. They are free and open to everyone, however, if you are employed, more than 5 years qualified, not a CILIP member, or simply able to afford it, please consider giving us a voluntary donation (even very small amounts welcome) to support us in our work with new professionals. #KIMPathfinder #KIMYNP2022.
