Submit to two new areas in Chambers UK

Two new areas are open for UK submissions for the first time: Dispute Resolution Specialist Firms and Shareholder Activism: Activist Representation. The former already has a table in the UK guide, which debuted in the autumn. The latter, meanwhile, has not contained rankings before, but we are soliciting them with the expectation that a new table will be created later this year.

Dispute Resolution Specialist Firms

This new table exclusively recognises firms specialising in dispute resolution and covers the full range of disputes. This includes commercial litigation, banking litigation, fraud and international arbitration, inter alia. It seeks to highlight firms of varying sizes with broad-based yet specialised expertise in this field.

The only firms that can be included in this table are those that focus on dispute resolution to the exclusion of other practice areas. Full service firms with comprehensive corporate departments, for example, cannot be included here. For further information about this section, please contact Ali Mirjani-Arjenan (ali.mirjani-arjenan@chambers.com).

Shareholder Activism: Activist Representation

As all publicly held companies will be aware, shareholder activism is on the rise. Although boardrooms will be aware of the need for a lawyer to represent them on the defence side, this table will specifically be for lawyers and law firms that represent activists. This research will be carried out alongside our Corporate/M&A research. For further information about this section, please contact Al Marsh (alex.marsh@chambers.com).
