International cruise operator Carnival Corp. has nearly settled with steakhouse chain The Palm over alleged use of “Palm Restaurant” on its cruise ships.
Negotiations have led to “a framework of a resolution that the Parties believe can be finalized in the next thirty days,” according a new motion filed Wednesday in US District Court for the Southern District of Texas
The Palm, with consent from Carnival, asked the court to nix an Aug. 3 deadline for Palm’s response to Carnival’s motion to dismiss so they could focus on finalizing the deal. The court granted the unopposed motion.
