Announcement Regarding Settlement Between CanLII and Caseway

CanLII and Caseway have resolved all matters arising from the proceeding known as VLC-S-S-247574 before the Supreme Court of British Columbia. The terms of settlement are confidential.

CanLII continues its work providing broad public access to primary legal information. Caseway continues developing technology solutions for organizations that operate in complex, document-heavy environments. Each will move forward independently, and
both consider the matter fully and finally resolved.

This will be the only public comment made by either organization regarding this dispute. Further inquiries should be directed to the published Statement, which reflects the complete and final position of both parties.
