Bronx, NY (WABC)-A teacher at a Bronx school was arrested and charged with sending sexually explicit pictures to several schoolgirls on suspicion of improperly touching one of them.
According to police, two 16-year-old and 18-year-old girls say Alexander Guzman, a 26-year-old Bronx law school teacher, sent them a photo of his private part on Snapchat.
The photos were said to have been sent between September 23rd and October 31st.
Officials say Guzman also improperly kissed or touched one of the 16-year-old girls on the school grounds.
The New York City Department of Education says the teacher has been expelled from school.
“These are very nasty accusations, DOE fully cooperated with the police and teachers were immediately expelled from school. Student safety is our number one priority and we deal with fraudulent allegations. We are implementing strict protection to ensure that. “
Guzman was arrested just before 11:00 pm on Friday
He has been charged with two charges: dissemination of obscene material to minors, sexual misconduct, forced contact, and harassment and exacerbation of harassment.
