BNA has announced that nine Burton Awards for Legal Achievement have been awarded to lawyers from the nation’s largest law firms for articles published in BNA Insights. BNA authors’ awards represent almost one-third of the 30 writing awards.

The Burton Awards for Legal Achievement recognize the best in legal writing at the nation’s 1,000 largest and most prestigious law firms. Nominations are submitted by managing partners at these firms, and submissions are judged by an Academic Board comprised of distinguished legal scholars from the nation’s courts and top law schools. The 12th annual Burton Awards event will be held at the Library of Congress on June 13, 2011.
