Bloomsbury Professional (UK) Wish To Run Focus Group On Electronic Publishing For Tax

David Percik the? chair of the? BIALL Legal Information Group writes :

I have been contacted by Sarah Blair, who is responsible for the tax side of the new Bloomsbury Professional. She would like to run a focus group for librarians at which various options will be discussed in the area of electronic publishing, specifically in the area of tax. The plan is to hold a meeting for anyone who is interested at Bloomsbury’s Soho Square offices in London at lunchtime on Thursday 3rd December. Bloomsbury Professional apologise for the short notice.

Don’t fear that if you turn up to this event you are committing yourself to anything long-term. The impression I have is that Bloomsbury are feeling their way a little in the corporate sector, and I think that they would appreciate any feedback that they can get from current or potential customers. This means that this is a good opportunity to make your opinions heard, and anyone who would like to contribute is welcome to contact Sarah Blair whether they are in a position to attend the December meeting or not. Her telephone number is 020 7688 1351, although I am happy to pass on questions or contact details if people would prefer to talk to me in the first instance.
