Foley & Lardner LLP announced that Tad Ferris joined as a partner and co-chairman of the firm’s Greater China regulatory practice in Washington. He was previously a principal on the China team at Holland & Knight LLP.
“Tad will be joining forces with Foley thought leaders in Shanghai and New York as part of our growing China team, building on the firm’s deep experience navigating Chinese regulatory issues and foreign direct investment in China,” Richard Florsheim, co-chairman of the China practice, said in a statement.

Adrian R. King Jr., the first deputy attorney general of Pennsylvania, will rejoin Ballard Spahr LLP June 16 as a partner in the business and finance department. King focuses on general business and corporate law, government relations, regulatory affairs, government contracting and gambling law.
Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads LLP added three attorneys to its maritime and transportation practice group in New York. Eugene J. O’Connor and Timothy Semenoro join as partners from Chalos O’Connor LLP.
