Bird & Bird Links to Indonesian Firms: Business of Law

Bird & Bird LLP expanded its pan-Asian reach by entering into a cooperation agreement with two Indonesian law firms: the intellectual-property firm K&K Advocates and the business-law firm Nurjadin Sumono Mulyadi & Partners.
Bird & Bird, which has a presence in Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong and Singapore, has added cooperation agreements in Australia, China and Malaysia and Korea in the past 18 months.
“The introduction of the ASEAN Economic Community has accelerated client expectations and in turn created a strong demand for Bird & Bird’s services within the participating countries and in particular within Indonesia,” Justin Walkey, chairman of the firm’s Asia-Pacific practice, said in a statement.
