The BIALL Salary Survey 2013 is now open for responses until the end of this month and is available at..... http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/BIALLSALARYSURVEY2013 So why should you complete the survey?  Well, have you ever wondered if you’re being paid the market rate for the job you do? Or whether you are getting the same benefits as other people doing the same job as you? Do you need some hard facts to back up a salary review? If the answer to any of these questions is ‘yes’, then the annual BIALL Salary Survey will be of interest to you. The purpose of this survey is to provide information professionals in the UK and Ireland with a benchmark document which can be exploited in salary negotiations. The questionnaire collects a wide range of data such as salary, working conditions, fringe benefits, full/part time status, level of responsibility, staff numbers, and qualifications, amongst other things. In particular, this year we are keen to collect responses from those of you based outside of London, particularly those working in Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Wales, and also part time workers, as all these segments have been under-represented in previous years.  But please do ensure you include your salary information otherwise we are unable to include your other responses in the report findings.
