BIALL EU Course Feb 2022

BIALL PDC is pleased to announce the return of its popular EU Law Course in 2022.

Where: The course will be delivered via Zoom.

When: Wednesday, 23 February 2022 from 1:30-4:30pm.

Cost: The cost of the course is £50 for BIALL members and £75 for non-BIALL members.

A bursary may be available to BIALL members to help fund attendance. Further details will be made available in due course.

How do I register?

Registration is via the BIALL online booking form – please make sure to choose the box for the ‘European Union Law Course’

With only 40 places available, the course will likely fill up fast, so don’t delay in registering – places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Once we hit 40 registrations, I will send another email. If you register after the 40 places have been filled, you will be added to a cancellation list. If there is a lot of interest, we will consider running the course on a second occasion.

About the course

The course will take you through the foundations of EU law, including the workings of the main EU institutions, the intricacies of the legislative process and the EU court system. You will also learn helpful tips and tricks for finding EU documents, cases and legislation and for staying up-to-date with EU law developments.

The course will be led by Frederico Rocha, Manager of the European Documentation Centre at Cardiff University and head of the European Sources Online editorial team. Frederico provides support to teaching and research on matters relating to European affairs, including evidence reviewing and policy landscaping. He has also been involved in several research projects, mostly related to his academic background in Political Science and European Politics.
