Information Professionals from all parts of the workplace sector will speak about their working day and offer tips on finding jobs in their area. Liz Robinson of City University will open the day with a talk about studying information and Sue Edgar from Sue Hill Recruitment will advise on your information career. Other professionals from a variety of sectors will give insight to their careers. These include Penny Bailey (Bailey Solutions Ltd.), Richard Nelsson (The Guardian), Sandra Smythe (Mishcon de Reya), Mark Haines (BPP University College of Professional Studies) and Phillip Barlow, Imperial College.
There will be visits to three special libraries during the day – Wellcome Trust, British Library and the BMA. When booking please state your preference for the visit.
