Australian Lawyer To Head Up Lex Mundi

Simon Truskett a partner at Australian law firm, Clayton Utz,? has been appointed Chair of Lex Mundi, an association of independent law firms.

The Lex Mundi board of directors elected Mr Truskett, an M&A/corporate advisory partner based in the Sydney office of Clayton Utz, during its annual meeting in Vienna on 10 September 2011.

Clayton Utz Chief Executive Partner Darryl McDonough said: “Simon’s appointment reflects his on-going contribution to the organisation since first being appointed to the board in 2006. Simon is an accomplished lawyer with an outstanding reputation particularly in cross border M&A work in the Asia-Pacific region.
