Here’s the PR

The independent law firm has bought Luminance’s artificial intelligence technology to use for due diligence. The technology, which uses sophisticated machine learning algorithms to help overview legal documents, identify patterns and pinpoint warning signs without the need for instruction, is becoming increasingly popular amongst law firms. ‘Our adoption of Luminance helps us deliver solutions that break with industry norms and unlock new opportunities and value for our clients,’  Kim Trajer, chief operating officer at McCullough Robertson, said. The firm viewed machine learning technology as necessary to remain competitive. ‘We see the insight and efficiency gains that Luminance delivers,’ said Ron Dutta, Director of Information Technology at McCullough Robertson. ‘We’re excited to adopt Luminance and manage document reviews with a truly global view of the data room.’ Luminance has completed over 200 transactions and has customers in 16 countries since launching in 2016, including Gilbert + Tobin, Corrs Chambers Westgarth, Chapman Tripp and Rajah & Tann.
