This report summarises the methods, assumptions and results from the economic modelling conducted by the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources (DISER) to inform the development of the Australian government’s long-term emissions reduction plan and associated net zero emissions by 2050 target.
The main body of the report explains the context of the analysis, and then presents and explains the key findings. This is followed by a number of appendices that provide additional technical details and explanations.
