A 77-year-old man has been shot in the groin inside a law firm in Sydney’s CBD. NSW Police say a 79-year-old man has been taken into custody.

An elderly man has been identified after allegedly shooting a lawyer in the groin during a hectic afternoon in the Sydney CBD.
Sinve Vulic, 79, faced Downing Centre Local Court in Sydney on Thursday after being denied bail for allegedly attempting to murder solicitor Van Cooney.
Emergency services were called to a building, which houses the office of law firm Van Cooney Lawyers, about 12.50pm on Wednesday following reports a man was shot.
Mr Cooney was treated at the scene before being taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a stable condition where he remains.
