Provide expert business management to a growing NFP within a government setting at the heart of Victorian law.

The Law Library of Victoria (Library) is Victoria’s premier legal collection and research support service. Headquartered in the heart of Victoria’s legal precinct under the dome of the Supreme Court Library, the Library curates electronic resources and provides logical pathways for easy access by all Victorian legal practitioners. The Library contributes to the practice of law in Victoria through the education of and engagement with Victoria’s legal community, and through the provision of low cost, high quality legal information resources.

The Library Business Manager is responsible for supporting the Director to lead the operations functions of the library, and to provide expert corporate services advice and management. This includes review, implementation and strategic advice on processes and procedures, governance & compliance, project, program and people management, communications and marketing, IT and financial processes and human resources with the aim to align operational processes with commercial and strategic objectives of the Library.

The Library Business Manager proactively and positively builds and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders and works closely with relevant parties including departments of Court Services Victoria (CSV) to ensure the Library’s operational requirements are met.

You will be confident and experienced with all aspects of corporate services, and be able to provide advice and act on matters related to HR, IT, Finance and Communications to an informed, educated and professional team.
