We have a flexible opportunity in our Melbourne CBD office for a Library Assistant in our Knowledge team to work one or two days per week on a Monday or Thursday. This role would ideally suit someone who is studying law and is looking for a part-time opportunity to compliment their study timetable and build on their experience.

In this role, you will assist in providing lawyers and other professional staff with efficient legal information and resources, working to strict deadlines and assisting with research tasks as required by utilising in-house and external sources.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills in liaising with both internal and external clients
  • Experience with internet research desirable
  • Relevant work experience ideally within an office environment
  • Proactive approach to work with a strong team focus
  • A high degree of initiative and enthusiasm together with the ability to respond to requests with a commitment to the provision of a timely service
  • Flexibility and adaptability
