The team
The Knowledge Management (KM) team is responsible for capturing and disseminating technical knowledge and encouraging continuous business improvement across ASIC. This team develops, promotes and maintains the Technical and Precedents Library, Precedents Collection and Legal Opinions and Advice Database (LOAD) along with facilitating user training and support. They play a key role managing project and investigation knowledge sharing activities and provide consultancy services in knowledge sharing across operational activities.
The role
In this role, you will apply your knowledge management experience to:

  • work with the Chief Legal Office to develop and maintain the LOAD database, providing legal technical advice in LOAD to project managers
  • provide training on LOAD and the Technical and Procedures Library
  • work with the Senior Knowledge Analyst and IT to migrate KM databases to Sharepoint
  • monitor and report on KM database usage and contribute to quarterly Service Delivery reports to the Chief Operating Officer

About you
You will have a sound understanding of knowledge management practices along with experience working with knowledge management databases. You display strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to communicate to different target audiences and provide advice on using the KM the databases. . The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Law or Information Management along with experience in knowledge management gained within a legal or government environment.
