Job Description

AXIS Legal is seeking to hire a motivated late-junior to mid level associate Thai lawyer with international firm experience for our corporate and commercial practice.?? Exposure to Banking & Finance, Energy & Natural Resources and other practice areas of interest is likely.? English fluency (spoken and written) required.

Key Responsibilities
Advising clients on company laws, foreign investment laws and other related investment laws and regulations
Advising and assisting clients to apply for approvals or licenses such as Foreign Business Licenses, US-Thai Treaty Certification, BOI, and IEAT
Assisting with all types of corporate, investment-related agreements including, but not limited to, joint venture agreements, shareholders? agreements, merger and acquisition agreements and other ancillary agreements
Preparing other types of commercial agreements
Formulating legal strategies, conducting legal research, providing legal opinions and analytical responses to clients? requests for legal advice

Desired Skills & Experience

Qualifications
At least 3 – 5 years of post-qualification experiences in corporate and foreign investment laws
Ability to handle assignments diligently and autonomously
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments
Ability to confidently interact with partners and clients
Educated at top-tier law school
Fluent in English and possess excellent English writing skills
Excellent analytical, drafting, communication, and research skills
Excellent problem-solving ability
Strong commitment to client service
