Westlaw Password Breach Compromises Personal Data

Law360, New York (November 17, 2014, 8:26 PM ET) — Thomson Reuters Corp. is alerting several thousand consumers that their Social Security numbers and other personal information may have been compromised by individuals who used Westlaw subscribers’ passwords to run unauthorized searches of the service’s public records database, the company confirmed Monday.
