Maples and Calder is a leading international law firm advising financial, institutional, business and private clients around the world on the laws of the British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Ireland and Jersey.
We are looking to recruit a permanent Information Officer in our Leeds office. This position is a global role and the Information Officer will be expected to provide research and information services to all the offices of the Maples group.
The successful candidate will be expected to undertake legal and business related research with an emphasis on client due diligence, researching companies’ corporate structures, shareholdings, listings and regulatory status.
Requirements
A degree or post graduate diploma in Information Management is essential and the ideal candidate would have experience of working in a major law firm.
Knowledge of corporate and legal research resources would be advantageous.
The successful applicant will have an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications.
Attention to detail and strong organisational and communication skills are essential.
