Animal Law Week @ Lewis & Clark “annual tradition where the Lewis & Clark Animal Legal Defense Fund Student Chapter hosts dynamic speakers, presentations, and networking opportunities to showcase the future of the field.”

We are officially celebrating Animal Law Week, an annual tradition where the Lewis & Clark Animal Legal Defense Fund Student Chapter hosts dynamic speakers, presentations, and networking opportunities to showcase the future of the field. We encourage you to join us for Animal Law Week’s public events throughout the week. You can find the full schedule here!

At the same time, we’re looking ahead to tomorrow, when Lewis & Clark’s 11th Annual Day of Giving kicks off, running from March 10 through 12. Over the next few days, you can direct your support for CALS by designating the opportunity that speaks to you most (give early and your gift will still count towards Days of Giving matches and challenges):

  • Support the Animal Law Clinic, which serves as a comprehensive training ground for students interested in policy, administrative, and transactional work that protects animals.
  • Support the Farmed Animal Protection Project, which enables students to advance their legal skills while contributing directly to farmed animal advocacy.
  • Support the Thomas Bloom Raskin Scholarship, which annually provides a $10,000 tuition scholarship to an incoming Animal Law LLM student dedicated to farmed animal protection. A matching gift of $5,000 will double your gifts to this fund!
  • Donate to CALS without a designation and we’ll use your gift wherever it’s needed most.

We appreciate all that you do to make the world a better place for animals!
