Angola: Army General Launches Book On Labor Law

The writer Apollo Felino Yakuvela launched Friday in Lubango, southern Huila province, his first book entitled “Understanding the Angolan labor law”, as part of the celebration of the 38 years of National Independence.

The 346-page literary work portrays the scientific, cultural and legal work in Angola, subdivided into two parts. The first concerns the “individual labor law” and the second addresses the “collective labor law.”

The book was edited and printed at the beginning of this year by a Portuguese publisher. In the first phase were extracted thousand copies which are being marketed at the price of Kz3.000 each.

Speaking at the launch of the book, the author, general of the Angolan Armed Forces and commander of the Southern Military Region, stressed that it is a systematization of ideas and thickens the essential Angolan Labor Law indispensable to the legal discipline
