Wolters Kluwer NV, publisher of medical, legal and accounting journals, has reported a 4 percent rise in full-year profits in 2010 as customers migrated from print to online and electronic products.
Net income rose to euro444 million ($606.8 million) from euro427 million in 2009. Sales also rose 4 percent to euro3.556 billion ($4.86 billion) from euro3.425 billion a year earlier. Electronic revenue was up 7 percent.
The publisher says it will buy back shares worth euro100 million during 2011 and increase its dividend to euro0.67 per share.
