If you’re interested in learning more about using mobile apps in your practice, make sure to read Apps in Law, Brett Burney’s relatively new blog that includes reviews and helpful tips on mobile apps for lawyers. And, if you’re all about Apple mobile devices, then iPhone JD is the blog for you, and you’ll find that attorney Jeff Richardson’s coverage of iPhones and iPads will be right up your alley.

For blogs that cover a host of legal technology topics, ranging from practical how-tos and legal tech industry news to more esoteric topics, including the future of technology and its effect on the practice of law, consider some of these blogs: 1) Attorney at Work, a group blog that covers an assortment of legal practice management issues, including legal technology; 2) Law Technology Today, an ABA-sponsored group blog covering a host of legal technology topics; 3) 3 Geeks and a Law Blog is another group blog written by law librarians that addresses legal technology and its current and future impact on the legal profession; 4) Legal IT Professionals is a group blog that covers the legal technology industry and topics that impact larger firms; and 5) Ride the Lightning, where Sharon Nelson tackles a variety of interesting legal technology issues and offers her opinion on the affect of legal technology on the practice of law.

There are a handful of bloggers who focus on a variety of topics relevant to running a law practice, including legal technology issues. So consider these blogs if you’re looking for well-rounded sources of information on law practice management, legal marketing, and legal technology: 1) Legal Ease Blog, attorney and law practice management consultant Allison Shields shares her knowledge on a host of topics relevant to running a successful solo or small law firm; 2) Real Lawyers Have Blogs is a blog written by attorney Kevin O’Keefe, CEO of Lexblog, who provides insight on blogging and social media, along with some legal technology topics, too; 3) Stacey E. Burke is an attorney and legal marketing consultant who shares her knowledge of online legal marketing for lawyers and and touches on legal tech issues, too; 4) My Shingle is where my co-author, attorney and solo law practice guru Carolyn Elefant, blogs about a plethora of issues related to running a solo law firm, and of course, technology is part of the mix.

There are also some great blogs that cover legal technology that are published by local and state bar associations: 1) Mass LOMAP is a group blog that covers law practice management issues, which of course include legal tech topics; 2) Solo in Colo is another group blog focused on law practice management for solo and small law firms; 3) the Chicago Bar’s Law Practice Management and Technology blog is a group blog that often includes lots of practical how-to legal technology posts.
