Role 1: 12 month maternity contract
Role 2: full-time and permanent
Responsibilities for both positions include:
· Providing legal and business research to the firm
· Developing and delivering a weekly current awareness bulletin to support specific practice groups
· Assisting practice areas in their client focused activities
· Delivering training and induction sessions using online and traditional research methods
· Additional project work as required
· To be considered for this role you will need:
·
· Degree level qualification within Knowledge or Information Management
· A keen interest in, and awareness of, the commercial sector
· High level of IT literacy
· Some knowledge of legal and commercial research sources
· Good time management
· Ability to work under pressure with the ability to meet tight deadlines
· Good verbal and written communication skills
· The ability to work within a shift system covering 8am to 6pm is essential
The candidate may be a recent Information graduate or have some research experience in the legal or commercial sector as training will be provided for the permanent post. It is essential that the anyone applying for the 12 month contract has legal research experience.
