The man with the wandering hands and a bizarre prediliction for office affairs and even getting married in the office has been given the shufty.
In typical shifty style (as you’ll see below) his leaving, in his mind, has nothing to do with his repeated breaking of company policy on issues to do with harrasment and office releationships.
He’s not getting an exit package according to the following report which we’d suggest is a bit of a giveaway about his behaviour, or should we say lack thereof.
Forbes report
David Drummond, is leaving the company, effective January 31.
Drummond, a top executive of nearly 20 years, was being scrutinized as part of a board investigation into the company’s handling of sexual misconduct for claims that he had inappropriate relationships with other employees. The probe also included the response to allegations against Android creator Andy Rubin, who reportedly received a $90 million exit package after the company found sexual assault claims against him credible (Rubin denied wrongdoing at the time of the report).
A company spokesperson said that Drummond will not be receiving an exit package.
Drummond, 56, said he was retiring after “careful consideration,” in an internal memo to colleagues provided by an Alphabet spokesperson.
“With Larry and Sergey now leaving their executive roles at Alphabet, the company is entering an exciting new phase, and I believe that it’s also the right time for me to make way for the next generation of leaders,” Drummond wrote.
