The announcement coincides with Allen & Overy commencing operations as a Qualifying Foreign Law Practice (QFLP), following a successful application to the Singapore Ministry of Law.
Lock Yin Mei and Kenny Kwan join A&O from leading Singapore firm Venture Law LLC, along with all the other existing fee earners. Yin Mei and Kenny are both highly regarded in the capital markets and corporate arena and their experience will complement Allen & Overy Singapore’s key strengths in capital markets, banking, mergers and acquisitions and private equity.
The expansion is a reflection of Allen & Overy’s long-term commitment and investment in the South East Asia region where the team has been serving clients for more than a decade.
