The University of South Carolina School of Law is seeking an adjunct professor to teach legal writing to first year law students for the course Legal Research, Analysis & Writing during the Spring 2021 semester. The legal writing adjunct will be responsible for teaching up to 40 students, working closely with a reference librarian who will team-teach the course with the legal writing adjunct.
Applicants must have strong academic credentials and be able to demonstrate a high probability of success as a teacher and a willingness to contribute to the law school’s academic community; previous law school teaching experience is strongly preferred.
Applicants must have a JD and at least two years of practice experience; two years of previous law school teaching experience is strongly preferred.
