Act legal Spain has officially established its Academic Council, a significant initiative spearheaded by Professor Miguel Casino, Of Counsel at the firm and Chair of Administrative Law at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). Casino, who played a pivotal role in the council’s formation, also serves as its first president. The newly created council functions as an honorary advisory body, initially composed of its president and six distinguished university professors from various legal disciplines.
The Academic Council of act legal Spain aims to be a platform for in-depth legal analysis and knowledge sharing between academia and legal practice. Through regular meetings, the council will review key legislative and jurisprudential developments across different areas of law, providing updated insights into relevant legal matters. Additionally, its members will conduct training sessions for the firm’s legal team, ensuring continuous professional development and reinforcing the firm’s commitment to legal excellence.
This initiative aligns with the demands of an increasingly complex and globalized legal landscape. Cristina de Santiago, Managing Partner of the firm, emphasizes the importance of this development in an ever-evolving legal environment: “Having the support of an Academic Council allows us to stay at the forefront of legal knowledge, providing our clients with even more robust and specialized legal advice.”
