I’m conducting research into how AI-assisted legal research tools are reshaping the role and professional identity of law librarians in England and Wales, as part of an MA in Library and Information Studies at UCL.
I’m also a legal information professional and co-chair of the BIALL Diversity & Inclusion Working group, and would be very grateful for your input.
If you work as a law librarian or in a related legal information role in England and Wales, I’d like to invite you to complete a short survey (10 – 20 minutes) on your experiences with, and views on, AI-assisted legal research tools.
Full information about the study, including how your data will be used, is provided at the start of the survey. Participation is voluntary, and all responses are anonymous.
I’m also hoping to speak to a small number of participants for a short follow-up interview. If you’d be interested, please email me directly at julia.bhojoo.25@ucl.ac.uk (rather than replying to this list), so I can keep your contact details separate from your survey response.
The survey will close on 21 August 2026. If you have any questions about the research, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Thank you in advance for your time.
Many thanks,
Julia Bhojoo
