A warrant is out for the arrest of a Texas lawyer accused of cyberstalking a partner understood to work at Latham & Watkins, and an associate.

‘V1’, a partner in New York, phoned the FBI in June to report that Amber Chen was targeting him and an associate, ‘V2’, who lives in California.

Chen was already on the Feds’ radar for submitting approximately 25 online tips to the FBI alleging crimes including terrorism, murder-for-hire and bank robbery. Her tips resulted in “multiple” investigations and were all found to be unsubstantiated.

The day V1 reported his concerns, Chen gave the FBI another tip – that V1 was her brother, and that V2 was hiring a killer to murder her in Texas.

The next day, on June 16th, V1 provided the FBI with a series of screenshots of Chen’s social media posts, according to the arrest warrant. Here’s a selection, with V1’s name redacted:
