You will perform a key role in managing the Researchers and Information Officers and working with other colleagues to deliver firm-wide knowledge and information resources, advice, training and tailored research and analysis to support the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- line management of several individuals
- running the day to day operations of the team to provide seamless access to knowledge and information
- carrying out pro-active and reactive research providing client and market intelligence
- producing detailed reports and profiles to support fee-earners and business development
- working on quick turnaround legal and business enquiries
- carrying out analysis and assessment of research topics
- recruiting and carrying out performance reviews of the Business Intelligence team
- monitoring workflow
- providing regular activity reporting to the Head of KBIC
- budgeting and procurement management
- developing and delivering training programmes
- vendor liaison and assessment of online and hard copy sources
- other projects as required
In order to be considered for this role you will have:
- proven leadership skills and experience with the ability to motivate a team
- experience of managing a team with commitment to the development of oneself and others
- a proactive approach to customer services
- excellent communication skills
- ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders across the firm
- previously worked within professional services
- strong accuracy and attention to detail
- ability to manage own workload, that of others and work to tight deadlines
