A leading international law firm has a new role for a Global Knowledge Client Manager. Working on a number of client-facing knowledge initiatives, the successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring KM, thought leadership and training are consistently applied across practice areas firm wide. The objective of the role is to leverage knowledge resources to maximise client value and ensure efficiency, consistency and eradicate duplication of effort. Key responsibilities include:

·        Supporting client facing KM strategy including thought leadership, legal publications, alerts and client training

·        Reviewing proposals for new cost effective client facing knowledge initiatives

·        Working with Marketing and Business Development teams to develop firm wide horizon scanning

·        Working with these teams to encourage cutting edge content

·        Ensuring client knowledge is created in a streamlined and efficient way

·        Identifying opportunities to provide KM consultancy for key clients

·        Contributing to pitches and panel reviews as required

To be considered for this role you will have:

·        Proven experience in the areas of KM and/or Business Development within a law firm or professional services environment

·        The ability to work collaboratively across internal functions

·        Confidence in working with a large and complex matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders and interest groups

·        Experience of successfully delivering global change projects and managing a complex portfolio of multiple projects running concurrently

·        Significant experience with knowledge content, systems and project management in a law firm or professional services environment

·        Degree level education (ideally a law degree or post-graduate qualification in law or equivalent)

·        Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint. Knowledge of HighQ is desirable

·        Outstanding communication skills and be able to work confidently and tactfully with colleagues at all levels

·        Strong influencing and persuasion skills

·        High levels of motivation and enthusiasm
