A leading global consultancy has vacancies for contract/permanent information professionals within their Information Services team to be based in London, Amsterdam or Stockholm. Working as part of a large team the successful candidate will be an excellent team player who would like to progress their career and flourish in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- carrying out research using traditional and alternative electronic resources
- providing filtered and well organised research results
- building industry knowledge by attending practice area meetings, conferences and reading industry publications
- participating in knowledge sharing initiatives
- pro-actively seeking opportunities to broaden their skill set by participating in special projects
- contributing to industry-specific product and service evaluations and resource development
- delivering training to consulting staff
In order to be considered for this role candidates should have:
- three years’ + experience in a commercial or fast paced consulting, financial services or other business environment
- knowledge of industry-specific data sources and understanding of industry dynamics
- experience of core business information tools
- experience of alternative data tools eg social media analysis/webscraping is preferred
- training and presentation skills
- flexible can-do attitude and a proactive approach
- high standard of written and spoken communication skills
- excellent attention to detail
- a degree in Information Science/Information Management preferred
- English and fluency in a second language would be advantageous
