A global consultancy has an immediate vacancy for an Information Resources Associate to join their team on a temporary basis.
Working with a wide range of information tools to provide research for client projects and business development, key responsibilities include:
· Carrying out quick turnaround and in-depth research
· Providing current awareness services
· Assisting in the education and training of consulting staff
· Collaborating with team members from other regions
· Assisting with marketing and developing services to staff globally
· Participating in knowledge management initiatives
· Working on special projects as assigned
To be considered for this role you will have the following skills and experience:
· Minimum of two years’ experience in a research environment providing business and financial information (preferably in an investment bank, law, accounting or professional services environment)
· Experience and working knowledge of databases such as: ThomsonOne, Datastream, Bloomberg (or CapIQ or Factset), SNL Energy, Onesource, Factiva, Lexis, Westlaw etc
· Experience of working within a team both locally and globally
· Ability to prioritise, problem solve and respond quickly to requests
· Attention to detail and accuracy
· Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills as well as strong oral and written communication skills
· Proficiency in one or more European language would be an advantage
· Experience of developing and managing digital resources and collections an advantage
· Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and SharePoint an advantage
