A prestigious international law firm has a new role for a Junior Research Analyst. Working within an award winning Research and Knowledge team, the successful candidate will provide research and knowledge management support firm wide. This is an ‘entry level’ role which could be a great opportunity for someone to develop their skills and expertise within knowledge and information and ultimately progress to a more senior role. Key responsibilities include:
· handling quick turnaround and more in-depth research requests using a variety of legal and business research tools
· providing a current awareness service
· assisting colleagues with legal and business research projects as required
· managing the circulation of hard copy materials and subscription requests
· administering KM tools including reviewing sites and assessing ongoing requirements
· uploading and updating content and archiving and deleting sites no longer required
To be considered for this role the successful candidate should have:
· strong IT skills (Microsoft packages)
· experience of working in a fast paced environment
· excellent communication skills
· commitment to professional development
· a positive attitude and enthusiasm
