A leading City law firm based in central London has a fantastic new opportunity for a Business Development Research Executive. You will have responsibility for providing company and client intelligence, competitor analysis and market insight to support business development activities and inform strategic decisions. Specifics include:
- Researching M&A market activity, private equity, debt capital markets and providing analysis
- Producing quarterly rankings reports
- Supporting the CRM programme identifying business opportunities
- Producing company research and profiles for client meetings
- Identifying and analysing legal and financial advisers
- Compiling league tables
- Producing client and target lists and analysis
- Compiling, co-ordinating and providing internal deal information for pitches and marketing material
To be considered for this role, candidates will need the following skills and experience:
- To have worked in a similar role within a professional or legal services environment.
- You should also have excellent research and analytical skills.
- Previous experience of using databases such as Mergermarket, Capital IQ, Mint, Zephyr and DebtWire.
- Good report writing skills and proven ability to work within tight deadlines and keep calm under pressure.
