King & Wood Mallesons has an exciting new vacancy for a full-time Information Officer on a permanent basis.
Working as part of a team, the role will encompass the following duties:
- Dealing with legal and business research enquiries from all fee-earners, with specific responsibilities for the teams in the Competition, Regulatory and Dispute Resolution division (ie. Dispute Resolution, EU & Competition, Financial Regulation, & IP)
- Dealing with enquiries from Client Development
- Running current awareness services
- Act as primary relationship contact for Competition, Regulatory and Dispute Resolution division including Professional Support Lawyers, proactively evaluating support offered and working to develop the service on an ongoing basis
- Assisting the Head of Library and Information Services in managing relationships with external suppliers, including contract negotiation and internal budget management
- Oversee trainee induction programme every 6 months
- Run training sessions for new trainees upon seat change as required (every 6 months) / liaise with PSLs re training programme
- Attendance at departmental meetings, as required
- Promotion and marketing of LIS resources to fee-earners
- Supporting the Head of Library and Information services, including on ad hoc projects as and when required
Experience required: Ideally four years’ experience in a legal or corporate environment
