Dear all, We’re working on an exciting new role for an experienced Information professional within an international law firm. You will be required to lead a large team in the development and delivery of quality library and information services to the firm including legal and business research, current awareness, publications and knowledge management services. The team works closely with the central Knowledge Management team, PSLs and BD Managers in various practices and also with the Business Development department. This role will require extensive experience of managing library and information teams within the professional services sector and strong research capabilities.  The successful candidate will work closely with a variety of firm-wide departments and be expected to demonstrate a commitment to excellence. You will assume responsibility for the delivery and quality of the work of the Information service and be a credible team leader. This large and diverse team has a variety of functions and the role will require significant line management experience together with strong leadership and performance management skills with the ability to set a clear picture of the team’s direction to optimise resourcing and ensure the team has skills and capabilities needed to develop objectives.  The role will also require the successful candidate to develop strong working relationships at all levels within the firm.
