The Chinese and American Forum on Legal Information and Law Libraries (CAFLL) and the Western Pacific Chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries (WestPac) will co-host a joint conference October 7- 11, 2015, at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Hotel, in Honolulu, Hawaii. The joint conference will feature the theme “Challenges,Competencies and Opportunities,” and is co-sponsored by the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL),China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL), and East China University of Political Science and Law(ECUPL).

The Chinese and American Forum on Legal Information and Law Libraries (CAFLL), is a non-profit organization that promotes the accessibility of legal information and fosters the education of legal information professionals in the United States and China. The organization was founded in 2006.
The Western Pacific Chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries (WestPac) was established to promote law librarianship, to provide for the further professional education of law librarians, and to foster a spirit of cooperation among members in the law library profession nationally and within the Western Pacific region. The chapter held its charter meeting in 1967.
