The Amerian Lawyer is reporting that Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe has added a partner, David Case, to its Tokyo office.

David Case has joined from White & Case, where he was head of the IP and commercial litigation practices in Japan.
Case?s practice focuses on IP-related litigation and arbitration for Japanese clients, including matters in U.S. and other overseas courts. He also represents a range of clients in relation to government investigations into anti-monopoly, product defect and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations.
Case first joined White & Case?s New York office as an associate in 1998, transferring to Tokyo in 2002. He became a partner in 2008.
Orrick now has 23 lawyers in its Tokyo office, including seven partners. The firm employs 1,100 lawyers in 25 offices worldwide.
