Legal Week reports that Reynolds Porter Chamberlain (RPC) has recruited a new COO for its Asia operations with the
hire of Jennifer Fennerty from Goodwin Procter.

Fennerty, who will be based in Hong Kong, will be responsible for all of RPC's non-legal operations in Asia, including
strategy, business planning, finance, human resources and business development.
She will work alongside RPC's senior partner in Asia, David Smyth, to implement the firm's wider Asian expansion strategy.
Fennerty previously served as pan-Asia practice manager for Goodwin Procter, overseeing the launch of its Hong Kong business and handling all strategic planning for the firm's regional expansion.
She has also worked for magic circle firm Clifford Chance, leading their business development in mainland China.
"We've ambitious growth plans for Asia, and Jennifer is pivotal to helping us realise them," said Smyth.
"Her knowledge of the local market and, in particular, the complexities of Hong Kong and China employment regulations,
company law and regional regulatory processes, means she is perfectly placed to support the partners in building a strong
commercial presence in the region.
"Her experience of working for major law firms in Asia will also be invaluable in terms of helping us to integrate our new
offices."
UK firm RPC has six partners in Asia across two offices in Singapore and Hong Kong.
The Hong Kong base was launched in August this year under the name Smyth & Co in association with RPC.
The firm has since made clear its intentions to boost its footprint in Asia, focusing on insurance, litigation and corporate work.
