The WIPO Asia-Pacific Regional Forum on Copyright and Related Rights is jointly organised by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS), in cooperation with the International Confederation of Authors and Composers Societies (CISAC) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore. The event will feature a keynote address by H.E. Yan Xiaohong, Vice-Minister, National Copyright Administration of China.

This? copyright conference looks critically at the profound impact of digital technology on the regional copyright landscape and the environment where creative industries operate, and the challenges and opportunities presented when mapping out business and licensing models. Discussions will also focus on the role of copyright offices and collective management organizations, as the two main administrators in the field of copyright systems, in coping with the current technological developments in a manner that benefits the consumers, users and rights-holders.
