Eclipse?s Data Migration Tool (DMT) is being built into the LexisNexis business management system (code-named Nimbus) developed for the legal sector on the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 platform.
Eclipses? DMT will enable the Nimbus implementation team to easily transfer customers? transactional data from their existing systems into the new Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 solution. The U.K. Solicitors Regulation Authority?s accounting rules require legal services providers to report end-to-end on all transactions undertaken by organisations for audit purposes. Accurate migration of data is therefore crucial to the successful implementation of the new Nimbus platform.
