n MCOCA accused along with his accomplice allegedly thrashed a high court lawyer in his office in Jaripatka recently and demanded Rs 2 lakh while threatening to kill him. Roshan Shaikh, out on bail in an MCOCA case, was arrested on Friday and sent to Nagpur Central Jail.
As per the complaint filed by Jaswant Khubnani, a practising lawyer who operates from an office near Mahatma Gandhi School in Jaripatka, the incident occurred on July 29. Khubnani was sitting with his friend Faizan Farooq Sheikh (33) when the accused duo allegedly barged into his office.
